Difference between Post and Page in Blogger
Hey, everyone, this is Vatsal Singhal from Tips Tricks for Blogger. And in this Blog, I want to share with you the differences between a page and a post. In other words, the differences between a Web page and a blog post. Let's get started posting pages have some similarities, but they're also quite different in their purpose and they have some differences in the setup process as well. Both pages and posts are very similar in their structure. Pages and posts have a title and they have body copy where you can put not just text but also images. But one thing to keep in mind is that pages are not a part of your usual blog content or your blog calendar. Web pages are static pages, meaning they're going to be there and upfront in your front end, easily accessible for a long time, as long as those Web pages are up. So, for example, if a fashion blogger wants to write about a fashion show that they just attended, they would want to go to posts and write about it in their blog.
But if that same fashion blogger is actually hosting or putting on a fashion show themselves, they may want to go to pages and create a page, particularly a landing page that would promote their fashion show. As I said before, pages are something that you want people to be able to find right away once they're on your home page.
You've probably heard of an about page in a contact page. Those are two common examples of Web pages, and those are two very important Web pages as well. Every website should have some sort of about me page and a contact page. Posts are a part of your blog content and you would want to click, add, new to add, and any additional blog posts to your blog posts will show up in your blog as new articles in your blog and in your RSS feed pages will not show up in your blog feed. Instead, pages will be linked to your home page and they will be seen across the menu bar where people can then click on them to get to those pages. For example, on the Build Your Own Blog homepage, you see across the top here about me, Contact Me, and privacy. These are Web pages. The blogging tips are actually where you click to get to the blog. You can find additional Web pages down here in the footer. Under worth checking the blog post, ideas, generator, readers, feedback, disclosure, and FNQ, so did you find this video helpful? Please let me know if you have any additional questions about pages versus posts. I wish you much blogging success, and I'll see you again soon.
